Leap into Science
Visit the library to participate in interactive literacy and science workshops on balance.
'Leap into Science' began in 2007 as a partnership between The Franklin Institute and the Free Library of Philadelphia, supported by funding through the National Science Foundation (NSF).The goal of the program was initially to engage underserved children and families in the Philadelphia area, however, the initiative has grown in response to its popularity as well as a national focus on promoting science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The Leap into Science National Network is currently active in six states: Arizona, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.
